Kai Christian Buhofer
- Founding Partner

Through his international career in investment banking, which spans 20 years in countries such as Switzerland, Singapore and the United Kingdom, he has built an extensive network of high-level businesses throughout Europe and Colombia.

At Bank Boston, he was in charge of the Latin American FX business of German, Swiss and French Multinationals, which allowed him to acquire in-depth knowledge of the Latin American markets. His last position was as Managing Director and Head of Swiss Derivatives at BNP Paribas in London. Kai is Swiss and is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.

Marlid Duque
- Founding Partner

Marlid started her career in Colombia as an entrepreneur and managed her own large scale event management company. In London, where she lived for 13 years, she worked in investment banking, corporate finance and the M&A sector as a financial analyst, financial planner and associate director, having the opportunity to work for large firms such as Bank Boston/Bank of America, Pirelli and Standard Chartered Bank.

In 2009 Marlid decided to build her own business, developing investment opportunities in Colombia through a small portfolio of real estate and SME finance investments. Marlid is an economist and holds an MBA from Cass Business School, London. Marlid is Colombian/British and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Sir Allan C. Fields KCMG

He is chairman of Cable & Wireless (Barbados) Ltd and Tower Hill Merchants Plc (UK).
Sir Allan returned to Barbados in 1966 after studying mechanical engineering in Glasgow, Scotland. He worked at Barbados Light & Power until 1978. He then joined the operations of Lucas Industries Barbados (Tropical Battery Co.) as General Manager. The company was subsequently taken over by Neal and Massy in the 1980s.

Sir Allan serves on many boards in Barbados, including the First Caribbean International Bank, the Barbados Employers Confederation and the YMCA. He is also a former Chairman of the Private Sector Organization.
Sir Allan is a member of the Board of the Commonwealth Business Council based in the United Kingdom. He is Executive Chairman of Mark Anthony International SRL. He is married and has 2 children.

Markus Gumpfer

Mr. Markus Gumpfer serves as Chief Operating Officer of FRM (Man Group plc) and Chief Risk Officer of Man Investments (CH) AG. He is a member of the Executive Committee of FRM and has been with Man Group for over 13 years. Prior to these positions, he was Head of Business and Operational Solutions, Head of Global Turnaround and Global Co-Head of Operations in Europe and Bahamas after having built and run operations in Pfäffikon, London and Bahamas for more than 6 years. In addition to that, Markus served as Chairman of the Board of Man Capital Markets AG for many years and was on the board of Man Investments (CH) AG.

Prior to joining Man in 2001, he was a business consultant for risk and portfolio management systems at Systor and worked for Bank J. Vontobel in 1998 as Assistant and Market Risk Controller and was temporarily in charge of the market and counterparty risk control area, the asset and liability management team and was the compliance officer in their investment banking division. He began his career at Credit Suisse in 1986, where he spent 11 years in total on the Trading Floor, Middle Office and Internal Audit.

He was a board member of the Swiss Association of Independent Securities Traders and was a lecturer at the University of Liechtenstein for many years. Markus completed a business apprenticeship, obtained a degree in economics from the University of Applied Sciences (HWV) in Zurich, is a CFA and CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) Analyst and completed his eMBA at the IMD in Lausanne in 2013.
